Keep up the great work!

Dear Congressman Kratovil,

Thank you for your courageous stance on actually listening to the arguments on health care even in the face of such irrational vocal but small opposition. It is unfortunate that a few of your constituents (and more outsiders) are causing a scene at your public events and distorting the facts about the health care proposals. I am very happy with the job you have done in Congress, in keeping with your promise to evaluate every piece of legislation on its own merits and I appreciate your strong commitment to health care insurance reform. I find it refreshing that in this age of political cynicism, there are elected officials such as yourself working hard for EVERYONE in their district, despite the negative criticism that you have received from some ill-informed citizens.

While I appreciate your stance and am proud to call you my Congressman, I want to urge you to support a healthcare insurance reform bill which includes a strong public option. As you know, this will ensure true competition and reduce costs, while allowing Americans to keep their current health care provider should they choose to do so.  America is long overdue for healthcare insurance reform and the reform we have should be a long term fix, not just a temporary piece of legislation.

Thank you again for everything you have done so far in representing your district and doing what is best for us regardless of what leadership on either side of the aisle thinks. I am glad that you are working to healthcare insurance reform and look forward to seeing some strong legislation pass that will help our country finally be able to move past this issue and help us see a day when every American is insured.
