Welcome to the Broward Young Democrats!
While Floridians prepare for another exciting election cycle, the Broward Young Democrats continue the effort to cultivate passionate young activists and progressive candidates. With an array of issues and initiatives ranging from taxes to gay rights hanging in the balance, the need for fresh ideas and bold enthusiasm has never been greater! Our members, past and present, have answered the call to support the candidates that inspire us and the issues that move us countless times before. Now, we’re asking you to join the fight!
We meet on the second Monday of each month at Gatsby’s located at 1805 S. University Dr., Davie, FL 33324. Our meetings begin at 7:30pm and are preceded by a happy hour at 6:30pm. We are routinely joined by state and local officials, union leaders, journalists and activists who share their experiences and knowledge of some of the most critical issues facing our communities.
